Prayer parties come in all shapes and sizes, united by the intention to glorify God and unleash His power in our lives. An Open Door party gives you the opportunity to invite the women in your life into your home to share a time of prayer.

We've added a blog to stay connected between parties and share our adventures. Write to us and let us know what is happening in your life!

Open the door!

I love doors, especially old farmhouse doors and the way they squeak when you open them and slam when you shut them. There is just something about an open door that makes me want to go in. It’s inviting, exciting and sometimes even a little scary.
To me prayer is like an open door. It is a door of comfort, peace, encouragement, and strength. It is a door you want to enter when times are tough and when times are amazing. It is an open door to empty your burdens and release your stresses. It is always open – it is never shut and doesn’t lock. It is an open door to your biggest visions and smallest wishes. It is seeking the presence of God and releasing His power. It is a door to worship.
All that could happen in our lives and in our church cannot happen without His presence or His power. Prayer invites and ignites both. Invite Him to spend time with you through prayer each day. Open the door, enjoy the fellowship!

I've just found the blogspot and its great. Just want to write a note of encouragement to those of you who haven't yet experienced an Open Door Prayer Party. I've now had 2 parties and plan these to be a priority in my future. Gathering with friends (old and new) to pray and seek God's wisdom is an incredible blessing. If you have the chance to attend, or host a party, please take the step! The parties are easy to host ~~ invite ladies; have a simple snack; pray and enjoy the fellowship! It costs nothing to attend and you don't have to buy, or bring, anything...but, the evening is priceless. You can invite a few, or a bunch of ladies; either way, you'll enjoy a priceless evening of blessing!! To book your Prayer Party, contact Mary Whitacre, or Mary Simmons, or Melissa Hall to schedule your date. If you have a desire to get involved, please act on it. Its like when you say to a friend, "Let's get together," and before you know it, you're saying it again a year later because you never set a date to get together. You need to get out your calendar and just book a date; then it will happen and you will be blessed!!! We women have so much we bear daily; we need to take the time to pray together and lift each other up by going to His throne of grace! I do hope this posting has been a true encouragement to you and that its helped you to see just how easy it is to get involved in such a wonderful ministry ~~ one way to continue his command to "pray without ceasing." Enjoy!
